A book by Dr. habil. Piotr Rachwał, entitled Parish and Civil Registers (up to 1900) in the Parish Archives of the Lublin Region (Lublin: KUL Publishing House, 2021, 324 pages), has been published. The publication is the result of archival research conducted in the parish archives of the Lublin region between 2013 and 2018. It contains a catalog (with descriptions) of parish and civil registers preserved in the archives.

A book by Piotr Rachwał, The Natural Movement of the Roman Catholic Population in the Lublin Region in the Light of Parish Register Records from 1582 to 1900 [Download PDF], was published by KUL Publishing House. The book was awarded the First Prize of the Stefan K. Kuczyński Competition for the best Polish publication in the field of source studies and auxiliary sciences of history (2020 edition). It was also nominated for the Professor Tadeusz Kotarbiński Prize for the best humanities book of 2020, as well as for the Franciszek Bujak Prize for the best publication in economic and social history.
